This product is a new type of monitor developed and designed by our company based on the original JCQ-3A10/800 D-type arrester online monitor. It incorporates electro-optical conversion, photoelectric isolation, and optical-electrical conversion into the traditional current monitoring circuit, and adds a 485 communication interface to achieve long-distance isolated transmission. Therefore, this product not only retains the current monitoring display and discharge count display functions of traditional monitors, but can also connect to display terminals via a bus to achieve remote monitoring of leakage current, resistive current, operation count, and operation time, facilitating users to observe the operating status of arresters in a timely manner. It features the counting and leakage current indication functions of traditional monitors, and adds the capability for remote signal transmission using the Modbus communication protocol via an RS-485 interface. It consists of two module units: "sampling" and "signal conversion," sealed together in a cast aluminum enclosure to meet outdoor operational requirements.
The RS-485 interface remote data transmission module can be built into the arrester monitor circuit to transmit real-time leakage current data, resistive current data, recorded discharge operation counts, and time to an upper-level monitoring device. This enables remote monitoring of arrester operating parameters and digitizes the substation monitoring system, achieving intelligent design for online monitoring of arrester operating conditions in unattended substations.
The maximum transmission distance can reach 1000 meters. Practical field operation assessments have shown that its convenience and reliability are superior to current pointer-type leakage current meter monitoring devices, meeting actual monitoring needs. Its application will end the era of manual inspection records and enable real-time online monitoring of arrester leakage current from the control room remotely.

l No voltage signal required: High-speed sampling with FFT algorithm for waveform analysis. Uses harmonic analysis to calculate arrester resistive current without collecting voltage signals from PT, reducing system complexity and engineering workload.
l Passive operation mode: Utilizes the arrester's own leakage current for energy harvesting, eliminating the need for cable laying.
l Wireless transmission: Communication employs State Grid standard low-power communication modules, compliant with Ubiquitous Power Internet of Things (UPIoT) construction specifications, eliminating the need for communication cables.
l Provides an arrester online monitoring application APP. If the substation is equipped with UPIoT access nodes, remote deployment and configuration can be performed via the provincial company's IoT platform.
l Complies with State Grid information security requirements and can be quickly integrated into the provincial company's IoT platform and online monitoring system for power transmission and transformation.
l Uses high-precision active zero-flux through-core current transformers, automatically selecting amplification based on the measured current to achieve high-precision measurement.
l Employs dynamic phasor compensation algorithms for high-precision signal analysis.
l Utilizes digital filtering algorithms to eliminate "zero drift" issues caused by analog filters.
l Easy installation, flexible configuration, and main equipment can be implemented without power interruption.
